I’ve finally got past my fear of implementing comments on the blog, and am trying out Valine. It uses a cloud service called leancloud, and I had no idea (and still really don’t) whether it’s a legitimate setup, but I didn’t want some nasty-looking plugin that would change the cobbled-together feel of this blog (heh), and I also just wanted something really simple. Time will tell if this was a good or a bad idea!

I can’t quite see if there’s a way to get a notification if someone posts a comment on my blog, but I can check the Objects > Comment menu of the LeanStorage section of leancloud.
