Yesterday I hopped on the planner bandwagon and ordered a Hobonichi Cousin. I tossed up for quite some time over getting the smaller “Planner” in English, or the Cousin, which is in Japanese. I have a perfectly fine Bullet Journal in the works, and a Traveler’s Notebook, which I purchased earlier this year. I guess the trifecta plants me firmly in the “plannerholic” category, though I don’t really think of myself in that way.
In fact, in some ways, ordering the Hobonachi makes me feel like a bit of a planner impostor; I don’t have a lot of meetings that I need to keep track of, though my daughter’s schedule can get pretty hectic at times (so many dates to keep track of during the school year). But I do love the way you can keep everything together in one place, notes, receipts, your schedule, etc. I know a lot of people use theirs for journaling, but I’m not sure if I am ready to merge the stuff I’m happy to forget (once I’m done with it) and the things I want to keep (journaling).
