Discombobulated

Yes, apparently, according to the forums, diary-x suffered a massive drive failure, and there is a possibility that all of our diaries, entries, templates, pictures, etc. etc. etc. will be lost.

I was a week off my 5 year anniversary with diary-x. The idea of losing everything is horrifying. I did take a backup of the files a few months ago, so not all is completely lost. But as with everything one gets used to a certain way of doing things. I’m used to one page per day format, not the list of blog entries, for example. I think it’ll take a bit of getting used to. I think I will eventually wind up setting up something of my own at home, but for now, I feel I need to write, if only to fend off the nervousness that Herself could perhaps be no more.
